TWO CUTTING LINES

Our coil cutting service transforms tinplate and chrome-coated steel into sheets with exceptional precision and production continuity. Two highly automated lines — Leonardo and Galileo — deliver a combined capacity of approximately 80,000 tons per year.

The lines can process coils ranging from 600 to 1,200 mm in width, 0.13 to 0.50 mm in thickness, and at speeds of up to 200 sheets per minute — ensuring dimensional accuracy, consistent flatness, and full compliance with UNI 10202 standards.

Our goal is not simply to cut material. It is to deliver an industrial service that integrates seamlessly into our customers’ production processes, providing consistent reliability, flexibility, and certifiable quality standards.

A BROAD RANGE OF SERVICES

Our shearing service works on material that is already in sheet format, improving its usability and restoring full usability and workability through precise and effective trimming operations.

These interventions correct dimensional and edge defects, surface imperfections, and irregularities that would otherwise compromise the material’s performance in standard production cycles — restoring its industrial value.

The aim is not simply to correct a defect. It is to offer customers a practical solution for optimising material usage, reducing waste, and recovering productivity across the entire supply chain.

PERFECTLY FLAT. PERFECTLY UNIFORM.

Our flattening service works on sheet-format material to correct flatness anomalies and improve structural stability, making it fully ready for subsequent industrial processing.

Using dedicated equipment and tight process parameter control, Italpack can address deformations and residual stresses, surface waviness, and flatness defects that could otherwise compromise downstream production stages.

The objective is not just to correct a non-conformity — it is to genuinely improve the material’s performance, reducing operational issues and increasing the overall efficiency of the customer’s production cycle.

EVERY SHEET MATTERS

Our selection and reconditioning service for second-choice material is designed to recover and add value to materials that do not fully meet first-choice standards – turning what might otherwise be waste into a valuable industrial resource.

Through a process of technical analysis and inspection, our specialists identify and classify the issues present – surface defects, flatness anomalies, dimensional imperfections – and determine the best possible use based on specific end applications.

The goal is to offer customers a high-value-added solution that reduces material losses, optimises costs, and maximises the overall efficiency of their production process.
